Ms. Pat
Owner & Founder
Patricia Wilka founded Newbury Oaks Preschool in 2009 and The Enriching Hour Preschool in 1989. She has been in the education field for over 50 years and holds a Master's Degree in Education. She is the past President of the Professional Association for Childhood Education, 2007-2011, and served on the Local Planning Council for Ventura County.
Ms. Kristina
Owner & Founder
Kristina Golem has worked in the field of education since 1997 and in Early Childhood Education since 2003. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Pepperdine University, holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit. Kristina is also the co-owner of The Enriching Hour Preschool and Woody’s Clubhouse childcare centers.
Ms. Tanya
Director
Ms Tanya earned a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from the University of LaVerne. She has worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for over eight years. Ms Tanya holds a site supervisor permit from the California Department of Education.
Ms. Bonnie
Assistant Director
Ms Bonnie holds a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit from California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for over twenty-five years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Child Development.

Ms. Molly
Lead Teacher
Ms. Molly completed her Early Childhood Education units at Moorpark College and has been working with young children for over a decade. Ms. Molly is currently working with Ms. Sarah in our Toddler Component classroom.
Ms. Adriana
Lead Teacher &
Assistant Director
Ms. Adriana earned her Associates Degree and completed her Early Childhood Education units at both Moorpark and Los Angeles Colleges. She has been teaching at Newbury Oaks Preschool since 2015 and completed additional studies earning her site supervisor permit in 2022. Ms. Adriana is currently teaching in our Red Oak classroom for young twos with Ms. Julie.
Ms. Julie
Lead Teacher
Ms. Julie has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for over five years. She earned her Early Childhood Education units from Moorpark College. Ms. Julie is currently working towards her bachelor’s degree while teaching with Ms. Adriana in our Red Oak classroom for young twos.
Ms. Kelly
Lead Teacher
Ms. Kelly holds a Child Development Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and has worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for 30 years. She has been working at Newbury Oaks Preschool since 2010. Ms. Kelly is currently teaching in the older twos Blue Oak classroom.
Ms. Lynda
Substitute Teacher
Ms. Lynda holds a Teacher Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. She has over twenty years of experience working in early childhood education as a teacher and a preschool director.
Ms. Laura
Lead Teacher
Ms. Laura holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential as well as a Bachelor’s Degree. She has been teaching at Newbury Oaks Preschool since 2016. Ms. Laura currently is the Lead Teacher of the Live Oak Pre-K classroom with Ms. Alina.
Ms. Karen
Lead Teacher
Ms. Karen is certified through the California Department of Social services and has been working with children for 30 years. She is also currently expanding on her knowledge in the Early Childhood Education field by completing classes at Moorpark College. Ms. Karen has been teaching at Newbury Oaks since 2015 and is currently working in the Valley Oak Pre-K classroom with Ms. Juliette.

Ms. Juliette earned her Early Childhood Education units from Moorpark College. She has been working at Newbury Oaks Preschool since 2019. Ms. Juliette is currently working in the Valley Oak Pre-K classroom with Ms. Karen.
